Del Mar’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival
08.10.15
The Del Mar Racetrack season is underway through September 7 and it’s a hot summer destination for fast horses, concerts and culinary offerings. On Saturday, August 15, arrive hungry to Del Mar as 50 of SoCal's most popular food trucks roll into the track for one of the largest food truck meet ups in San Diego.
The fifth annual Gourmet Food Truck Festival will feature hundreds of treats from trucks from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego with every cuisine you can imagine: Mexican, Thai, Korean, German, Argentinian, American, burgers, organic seafood, desserts and more ranging from $4-$8.
Participating trucks include fan favorites such as The Grilled Cheese Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster, The Lime Truck, The Lobsta Truck, and Devilicious. The entire list can be found here. There’s even a beer garden, so that you can pair food with several cold brews.
The Food Truck area is free with paid racetrack admission. $6 for adults. Children under 18 are free -- must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Del Mar Racetrack is at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., in Del Mar. 858.755.1141.
